I live in the Bay Area and I like food.
So since Halloween lasted two weekends according to Instagram, I’m still gonna post about the Harvest festival and this apple cider drink - even though everyone’s already moving onto Christmas. 🤷🏻♀️ Check out my stories for a glimpse of it, and the latest post on the blog (link in bio) for the details! 🍎🍁🍂
Happy Halloween! 🎃 I didn’t get to dress up this year, so I’m living vicariously through everyone else and hiding out from trick or treaters. 😂 Also, love these pumpkins and corn from the Harvest festival, and the persimmons and apples are right from my backyard. For some reason this year, I really felt the fall ~vibes~. So much so, that I went to the Harvest Festival at Ardenwood Historic Farm! The last time I visited I was in 8th grade and the last time I’ve been to a pumpkin patch, I was 6 (!), so it was really cool to go back and check it out. And what I realized was that it’s basically having Star’s Hollow in the Bay Area. Really - check out latest blog post (link in bio) to see why! 🎃 🍂
The Gala Apple Tart: an apple tart with hazelnut streusel, caramel sauce, and a cinnamon-caramel swirl ice cream. Find this and more on the blog; link in bio. 🍎🍂
Okay, to be honest, I have mixed feelings about Steelhead Diner (you can read about it on the blog; link in bio!), BUT these Dungeness Crab & Bay Shrimp Tater Tots with ~Tiger~ sauce were so good! They were so soft but perfectly crunchy on the outside and dipping it into the sauce was the perfect combination. The Diner wasn't one of our planned eatery stops (...because I pretty much planned all of that 😂), but when you get hangry and you gotta eat - and the food was better than I thought!
