B Street & Vine (San Mateo, CA)

B Street & Vine (San Mateo, CA) - In search of a place to meet up with a few of my friends after a monotonous day at work, we settled on B Street & Vine. It was a midpoint for the both of us, and after being told that this was a place that had [...]

The American Grilled Cheese (San Francisco, CA)

The American Grilled Cheese Kitchen (San Francisco, CA) -I was in SoMa for a job interview, and was really excited that this shop was so close by to where I was going to be! I’ve been wanting to try their grilled cheeses for awhile now, and what better way to wind down after a stressful [...]

IT ME

A Bay Area native encountering food from all over the Bay Area (and more on occasion!). I watch far too much TV for my own good, spend too many hours on the internet looking at clothes, memes, and Wikipedia, laugh a little too hard at celebrity gossip, drool at pictures of food and travel that my friends post on Facebook & Instagram, and sleep at the worst times possible.

ON THE 'GRAM

So excited for Westworld to return tonight! lol I did this really quickly but it was heavily inspired from their pop up world at SXSW - which had baked beans and jerky in a saloon and town taken directly out of the show. Can't wait to see what happens in the new season and especially with Maeve!
Looking forward to a brewtiful weekend. ☕️☀️
Catchin' ice cream flights not feelings 🍦✈️👀 Nature Microreamery and Soul Cafe’s ice cream flight may be mini, but it packs in a lot of flavor in their unique and changing options like Salted Sage Pecan, Chocolate Aztec, and Saffron Pistachio. There's a lot more served there, which you can check out on the blog, link in bio! 🍨
I ❤️ elote (who doesn't?). Corn always makes me think of summer and barbecues in the backyard. Growing up, we used to grill corn and squeeze some lime and sprinkle cayenne pepper on it - the perfect combination of hot and sour. That's how it's done in Pakistan and it's sold on the streets. I didn't realize until later that this was so similar to elote - except it has cheese (which makes it even more delicious)! I always love finding the commonalities across cultures and how they influence each other. And I'm also craving corn now. You can see more mouth watering food on the blog; link in bio. 🌽 🌾 🌽
Let's taco about how cool of a spot Olla Cocina is - from their delicious tacos to their awesome interior that incorporates Mexican culture in a modern way. Oh, and of course it's perfect for Taco Tuesday! 🌮 Be sure to take a look at all of the ~aesthetics~ on the blog, link in bio! 🌮
All you knead is ❤️ - and a chocolate cake doesn't hurt either.
